I've only started collecting magazines featuring Isabel Oli last April 2006. The first magazine that I bought was Woman today Asia March 16-31, 2006. Now I'm searching for back issues of magazine featuring Isabel. I didn't realize how hard it is to find it. For months I've been searching for Preview mag 6/2005, but I've been to Filbar's , NBS, Booksale, Bookbugs ,etc here in Cebu, wala talaga. Ang nakikita ko lang sa preview issues ay yung 2002-2004. Pinakamaraming back issues na nakita ko ay Candy and Seventeen. Anyway, sa inis ko, bumili na lang ako ng Seventeen 6/2005. Well I found this small pic (see above) in one of its pages. Isabel Oli (Olivia Daytia at that time) was one of the 10 faces to watch out for in 2005 for its 10th anniversary issue. Happy na rin ako kahit papaano, kahit wala na akong mag. The lesson I learned from this experience, is to buy the mag you like when its available. I know that they return it to its source 2 -3 months after its issue. Also, I made some random purchases, specifically 2005 issues, and may nakita naman ako ng 1 or 2 pics. I may post it in my blog one of these days.
For July-Aug 2006, Isabel is on the Cover on Mirror mag & Speed magazine. Bili na kayo, dali!!!

On I Luv NY, Wendy is back to her old schemes as she tries to steal Polly’s fiancé for the nth time.
“Kontrabida siya kung fan ka nila Jolina and Marvin. Pero syempre kasi, yung role ko, ang hirap, kasi gusto ko agawin ulit si Marvin, kasi mahal ko rin siya. Parang ganoon. Yun, kung fan ka nila, medyo nakakainis ka talaga, kasi sinisira mo si Jolina and Marvin! Pero good intentions naman talaga sa akin kay Marvin, e, kaya nagaaway kami ni Jolina talaga,” Isabel says.
In the recent episodes of I Luv NY, Albert told Wendy about his heart ailment because he couldn’t bear to break the news to his fiancée, Polly.. He finally decides to leave Polly instead of making her worry about him.
“Nagpeplay along lang pala ako, kasi kunwari hihiwalayan na niya si Polly, di ba? So sinabi niya, magpapatulong siya sa akin. Nagpeplay along lang ako kay Albert, pero deep inside, siniseryoso ko talaga yun,” Isabel explains.
Isabel says that although Wendy cheated on Albert before, she realized later on that Albert is someone for keeps. “Oo, niloko siya before, parang wala lang, kasi nandiyan lang siya lagi, kasi sobrang bait niya, di ba? May ganoon naman talaga, di ba?”
She shares that she knows exactly what Wendy is feeling because she has experienced it before, in high school. “Dati, ganoon ako, (pag) sobrang bait, ‘Okay, later ka na lang!’ Mare-realize mo kapag nawala na siya, ‘Uy, importante pala yun.’”
For Isabel, the best part about being in I Luv NY is hanging out with the nicest people. “Ay, okey, sobra! Sobra! Si Jolina, sobra, masaya. Si Marvin naman, kalog!” she shares.
Isabel says that she finds it difficult to portray maldita roles and shepulls them offwith some extra effort.“In real life naman, siyempre may maldita side ako, pero hindi ako yung ‘Hoy!’ Sampal-sampalan, ganoon. Sobrang extra effort talaga kapag Wendy ako.”
But despite having to make an effort to be mean on screen, Isabel says that her character will be meaner than ever in the following episodes. “More malditatalaga. As in maldita na talaga. Pinapakita ko na talaga sa kanila na ‘Oy! Hindi pwedeng maging kayo!’”

Remarks: Hmmm.... mukhang wala na silang balak na lagyan ng redeeming factor si Wendy. One dimensional lang talaga ang character niya... oh well .... heard na malapit na matapos ang ILNY so keep on watching.. Also , i like her candid pictures .... kahit konting make-up ang ganda pa rin.

She will grace various Fujifilm-YKL merchandising and ad materials such as transit ads, billboards, product brochures, in-store display materials and other collaterals.

Since this is the first movie of Isabel Oli, it deserves a place here in my blog. Anyway, I've watched this movie (for obvious reasons) and I find it very nice. Kahit sub-plot lang ang story ni Isabel/Dion at kahit medyo walang kilig factor silang dalawa, maganda naman ang exposure nila for a first movie.
Anyway, Moments of Love is now available on DVD and VCD. I love the audio commentaries of Direk Mark Reyes. You'll learn some trivias and other info while shooting the film. For example, did you know how many takes it took for the "kissing scene" of Isabel & Dion? You'll find out if you get a copy of the DVD. I bought if for P425.00 , sulit talaga. Sana more film projects for Isabel. Congrats also to the cast and crew for the success of the film. Sabi ni Direk Mark , 5 weeks daw ito showing sa sinehan.

My first post for August. I don't know what happened , but the icons in my create post seems to have disappeared, ... so I can't upload photos or edit my font.
Anyway, TV sightings muna ang post ko. I saw ang mag-un (MU)Paolo & Isabel on TV (TV patrol and 24 Oras chika minute) for the 2006 Gawad Urian Awards. I think this is their first appearance as a couple in a public event (well after their S-Files guesting of course).
I'll try to watch Startalk, S Files & the Buzz, to see if they will be featured. Sana makunan ko ng caps, masyado kasing maiksi.
OT. Other couple sightings in the Urian awards are Jeremy/Alessandra, Jericho/Heart & Alfred and LJ.
Don't forget to watch Love to Love this Sunday after Gigsters.
