Isabel Oli is still Cinderella’s image model for the year 2008

Beauty, talent, and a pleasant personality have definitely elevated model-turned–actress Isabel Oli from her TV commercials and model covers of several fashion magazine in the metropolis to starring in major shows of GMA such as "Atlantika," "Sugo," "Love to Love Season 9 & 11." She was recently part of the GMA teleserye hit "Mga Mata ni Angelita," where she played the character of a mother who was searching for her lost child. Sa mga oras na ito, nasa Singapore na si Paolo Contis para samahan ang kanyang girlfriend na si Isabel Oli. Pero, bago umalis si Paolo, mariin niyang itinanggi na pakakasal na sila ni Isabel sa Singapore.

Sabi ni Paolo, gusto lang niyang magbigay-pugay sa pamilya ni Isabel na nakatira na sa Singapore.

At wala rin daw kinalaman ang plano niyang pagpapatayo ng bahay sa Pebrero 2008. Matagal na raw niyang plano `yon, at hindi raw dahil pakakasal na sila ni Isabel.

Sabi ni Paolo, dream house niya ang ipatatayo niyang bahay. Pero kung saka-sakali, puwede rin daw niya itong ibenta sa mas mataas na presyo.

Sabi pa ni Paolo, naisip niyang pasukin ang naturang negosyo, na magtayo ng bahay para ipagbili. Tutal naman daw ay matagal na rin na nasa construction business ang kanyang pamilya.

Giit pa rin ni Paolo, bagamat kuntento siya sa pagmamahalan nila ni Isabel, wala pa sa isip niya ang magpakasal. Unang-una, hindi pa raw niya kayang iwanan ang kanyang mga magulang.

At alam din ni Paolo na hindi pa handa si Isabel na mag-asawa. Bukod pa sa pareho raw maganda ang career nila ni Isabel, at nakapanghihinayang na mapabayaan.

May mga nagsasabi kay Paolo na subukan na lang nila ni Isabel na mag-live in muna, para makilala nila ang isat isa, bago magpakasal.

"Hindi, ah! Bawal yon! Hinding-hindi namin gagawin yon! Hindi namin napag-uusapan `yon. Hindi ko puwedeng gawin `yon kay Isabel," sabi ni Paolo.

Sisiguraduhin daw ni Paolo na kapag nagsama sila ni Isabel ay kasal na sila. At sisiguraduhin daw niya na kapag nagpakasal na siya at wala na talagang sisihan pa sa bandang huli.

Natuloy na ang story conference ng pinakabagong Sine Novela na papalit sa malapit nang magwakas na Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig—ang Maging Akin Ka Lamang.

Ang Maging Akin Ka Lamang ay isang obra ni Lino Brocka noong 1987 na pinagbidahan nina Christopher de Leon, Dina Bonnevie, Jay Ilagan, at Lorna Tolentino. Ang Viva Films ang nag-produce nito kung saan nagkamit ng maraming awards si Lorna bilang best actress.

Sa Sine Novela version, ang gaganap sa papel nina Christopher at Dina ay ang real-life sweethearts na silna Patrick Garcia at Jennylyn Mercado. Si Carlo Aquino naman ang gaganap sa role ni Jay at si Isabel Oli ang nakatoka sa naging award-winning role ni Lorna.

Ang iba pang bubuo ng cast TV remake ng Maging Akin Ka Lamang ay sina Alicia Alonzo, Pinky Amador, Dexter Doria, at StarStruck 3 Avenger Arci Muñoz. Si Gil Tejada ang magdidirek nito. Sa January 2008 naka-schedule first taping day nila.

Hindi makapaniwala si Isabel na sa kanya ibinigay ang role bilang Rosita Monteverde na unang ginampanan ni Lorna sa pelikula. Paborito raw kasi ni Isabel si Lorna at laking tuwa niya nang siya ang mapili sa coveted role na ito.

Kuwento ni Isabel, "Kailan lang kasi napanood ko sa TV yung Maging Akin Ka Lamang at galing na galing ako kay Ms. LT. Hindi ko akalain na balang-araw ako ang gaganap sa role na ‘yon.

"Definitely, maiiba na ang image ko kasi bida-kontrabida ang pagganap ni Rosita. Medyo maiiba ang looks ko pati na ang mga gagawin ko sa drama series na ito. Kasi nga, aakitin ko si Patrick dito at nanakawin ko ang anak nila ni Jennylyn.

"So it's a total change talaga from the image kung saan nakilala ako ng marami. Nasanay na silang mahinhin ako, pa-sweet at nagpapa-tweetums. Ngayon, lalabas ang pagiging maldita ko sa Maging Akin Ka Lamang."

Para naman sa magkasintahang sina Patrick at Jennylyn, ito ang unang opisyal na pagsasama nila sa isang soap opera at mag-asawa pa ang magiging papel nila. Sabi nga ni Patrick, isang malaking challenge para sa kanya na gampanan ang role ni Christopher de Leon bilang si Nick dahil malaki ang paghanga niya sa multi-awarded actor.

"Before, I used to play Christopher de Leon's son, now I'm playing one of his memorable roles," nakangiting wika ni Patrick. "It's a big challenge for me because it's a good role and a very good actor portrayed it first. Nakaka-pressure because hindi malayong ma-compare ako talaga. But I will do my best para naman kahit paano ay magampanan ko nang maayos yung role."

Masayang-masaya naman si Jennylyn dahil magkakasama na nga sila ni Patrick sa isang soap opera at equally challenging din ang role na napunta sa kanya bilang si Elsa.

"Maraming mabibigat na eksena si Ms. Dina Bonnevie sa movie at gusto ko sanang mapantayan ‘yon," sabi ni Jennylyn. "Palaban kasi siya rito dahil nawala ang anak niya at gusto pang agawin ang asawa niya. Gusto kong maka-relate sa character kaya naman ngayon pa lang pinag-aaralan ko na ang magiging atake ko sa role."

Excited din si Carlo sa pagganap niya sa role na unang ginampanan ng yumaong aktor na si Jay Ilagan. Sa pagkakaintindi ni Carlo sa role, obsessed ito kay Rosita [Isabel] at umabot pa sa puntong handa itong pumatay para sa pag-ibig niya.

"Tulad sa ginawa ko sa Sinasamba Kita, medyo baliw din sa pag-ibig ang role ko rito!" tawa ni Carlo. "Masusubukan na naman ang kakayahan ko as an actor. As always, gagawin ko ang nararapat para mabigyan ko ng justice ang papel na ibinigay sa akin."

ISABEL Oli looked stunning in her green evening dress at the 17th floor of GMA Skyline Resto where the presscon for “Mga Mata ni Anghelita’s” season ender was held Monday night.

Isabel, who plays a good part in the adventure-drama, feels sad that the show is ending soon. Title roler Krystal Reyes admits she is the saddened by the show’s end , even if it was hard for her to put on the contact lens as a blind girl.

Meanwhile, Isabel admits that she and Paolo Contis are having a second wind of their love affair. They became an item for one year and broke up. But it seems they’re really meant for each other so they talked things over and now they’re back in each other’s arms. Love is lovelier the second time around, she says. The Cebuana- Spanish-Chinese beauty is happy with her career now and she plans to stay long in the business. KUNG hindi pa nagbiro si Marvin Agustin, hindi pa lalabas ang totoo na nagkaroon sila noon ng unawaan ni Angel Locsin.

Sa pakikipagtsikahan namin kay Marvin, sinabi niya na masaya siya sa kanyang career, pero malungkot ang puso niya, dahil iniwan siya ng isang taong mahal niya.

Sinundan pa niya na hindi na raw ito babalik sa kanya, dahil pumirma ng kontrata sa ibang istasyon.

Siyempre, obyus na si Angel ang tinutukoy ni Marvin sa pahayag niyang `yon. At bagamat binawi niya ang mga sinabi niya, huli na dahil nasukol na siya ng mga kausap na manunulat.

"Magulo ang sitwasyon noon atsaka hindi ko alam kung saan ako nakatayo. Hindi ako makapag-comment noon.

"Unstable ‘yung sa amin ni Angel. Wala talagang commitment. Close kami noon na nandoon din ‘yung friendship," sabi ni Marvin.

Kinumpirma ni Marvin na matagal na silang walang communication ni Angel.

Anyway, marami pa sanang tanong ang entertainment press kay Marvin tungkol kay Angel, pero umiwas na siya, sa takot na baka maakusahan siyang ginagamit niya ang dalaga.

"At saka, hindi na rin naman napag-uusapan ‘yung sa amin. So, parang pangit na biglang heto ako, nagsasalita," sabi ni Marvin.

Nabalita na biglang hinimatay sa taping ang isa sa cast member ng GMA-7 soap opera na Mga Mata Ni Angelita na si Isabel Oli. Sabi-sabi, ang dahilan ng pagkakahimatay ng young actress ay dahil buntis diumano ito sa anak nila ng boyfriend na si Paolo Contis.

Nakausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Isabel noong August 12 sa fourth anniversary special ng Artrist Center sa Showbiz Central. Mariin niyangg itinanggi ang balitang buntis siya.

"May cough ako, tapos may fever ako nung time na 'yon. Lahat ng eksena from morning till 8:00 p.m., puro mga heavy, iyakan talaga. Tapos ang init pa sa location namin. Saka three straight days akong nagtrabaho kaya nahilo lang ako. Hindi naman ako nag-collapse," paliwanag ni Isabel.

"Sa mga nagsasabi na buntis ako, nasa akin 'yung result ng check-up ko. Kung gusto nilang makita, always welcome naman, ipapakita ko sa kanila. Gusto ko lang sabihin sa kanila na kung nahilo ang isang tao, hindi naman dahil buntis lang. Maraming dahilan pero bakit buntis lang? Pero okay lang kung 'yon ang iniisip nila sa akin. Pero hindi talaga ako buntis."

Dagdag pa niya, "Ang sabi sa akin ng doktor, low-blood sugar kaya raw ako nahihilo. So, I need more sugar sa katawan. Nagpahinga lang ako ng four days, tapos balik na ako sa taping."

Aminado si Isabel na napikon siya nang unang marinig ang intrigang buntis siya.

"At first, talagang napikon ako," sabi niya. "Kasi bakit parang...ba't naman buntis? Ang dami namang puwedeng sabihin, e. Pero siyempre, di ba, 'yung mga tao mas gusto nilang manira?"

Kaya siguro nasabi ng iba na buntis siya dahil iniisip nila na may nangyayari na sa kanila ng boyfriend niyang si Paolo.

"Kami ni Paolo, hindi namin pina-practice 'yon [pre-marital sex]. And ano 'yon, e, it's really bawal for us, lalo na sa religion namin. Kasal muna bago 'yun," giit niya.

Naghiwalay pagkatapos ay nagkabalikan din sina Isabel at Paolo. Ano sa tingin ni Isabel ang isang bagay na magagawa ni Paolo para tapusin niya na totally ang pakikipagrelasyon dito at hindi na muling makipagbalikan pa?

"Kung mahuli ko siyang may ibang babae," mabilis niyang sagot. "Siyempre ayoko naman ng may kahati sa pagmamahal niya, di ba?"

Aminado naman daw si Paolo na noong hindi pa niya girlfriend si Isabel ay marami siyang nakaka-fling. Pero ngayon daw ay hindi niya na 'yon ginagawa. Si Isabel na lang daw ang nag-iisang babae sa buhay niya.

Aware naman pala si Isabel na maraming naugnay na babae kay Paolo before.

"Sinasabi naman kasi niya sa akin lahat. Iyon ang pinakagusto ko kay Pao, prangka siya. Hindi siya 'yung nagpapakita lang na mabait ako pero hindi pala, 'yung ganun," huling pahayag ni Isabel.

MALUNGKOT ngayon si Isabel Oli dahil sa kanyang ama na may sakit. Sa tuwing napag-uusapan nga ang kanyang ama, ramdam na ramdam ang lungkot sa kanyang mukha at boses.

Sa ngayon, posibleng nailabas na ang resulta sa tunay na sakit ng ama ni Isabel. Hindi na nga lang namin kinulit si Isabel sa tunay na sakit ng kanyang ama, dahil siguradong malulungkot na naman siya.

Sa totoo lnag, nahihirapan nang husto si Isabel sa kalagayan ng kanyang ama. Sabi nga niya, ang laki raw ng ipinagbago ng kanyang ama mula noong magkasakit ito.

Dati raw ay nakakapaglakad pa ito ng normal. Pero ngayon ay nahihirapan na itong kumilos. Hindi na rin daw ito masigla o masayahin ngayon. At may mga panahon na bigla na lang nilalagnat ang kanyang ama.

Bago nga pala ginanap ang presscon ng Mga Mata Ni Anghelita last Monday, umiyak muna nang umiyak si Isabel dahil sa awa sa ama.

Sabi, gusto sanang isama ni Isabel ang kanyang ama sa naturang presscon, pero tumanggi raw ang kanyang ama, dahil pagod na pagod daw ito at masama ang pakiramdam.

Eh, natatandaan pa ni Isabel noon, na kapag isinasama niya ang kanyang ama, hindi ito nagdadalawang isip na samahan siya sa mga lakad niya. Na kahit malayo nga raw ang lugar ng syuting niya, sumasama ito sa kanya noon.

Sa Singapore nga pala nakatira ang tatay ni Isabel. Pero, dahil sa karamdaman nito ngayon, hindi pa ito bumabalik sa Singapore.

Sabi ni Isabel, mas praktikal at mas mura raw kasi ang gamutan dito sa Pilipinas, kung ikukumpara sa Singapore.

Kaya sa mga lalakeng naghahangad na maka-date si Isabel, sorry na lang kayo, dahil ang kanyang ama ang nasa utak niya ngayon.

Recently, may kumakalat na blind item about a young female star na may sex video raw with a partner. Patanong na pala itong napangalanan as Isabel Oli, Unilab's endorser for their new Myra-E Hand and Body Lotion.
Bagama't nag-press con ang Unilab for Isabel just yesterday, May 31, sa Annabel's restaurant, hindi ito naitanong sa kanya dahil more on the current status of her relationship with Paolo Contis lang ang napag-usapan.

The alleged sex video has a girl daw going down on a guy at si Isabel nga raw ang babae at si Paolo naman ang guy.

Itinimbre lang sa amin ito ng aming patnugot sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), na si Isabel nga raw ang pinapangalanan sa nasabing blind item, kung kaya't nag-text kami agad sa young actress-model about this issue. Imbes na text answer, tumawag sa amin si Isabel to clear this.

"Matagal na 'yan, mga friends ko pa nga sa Cebu ang nag-text sa akin na may video nga raw ako tapos nagtatawanan sila," unang sabi ni Isabel.

"At first nainis ako kasi bakit naman maiisip ng tao na gagawa ako ng ganoon? Pero sabi rin ng mga friends ko, kamukhang-kamukha ko raw talaga. Kaya lang, sila hindi naniniwalang ako 'yon dahil bukod sa may katabaan daw ang girl, ang laki raw ng boobs!" natatawang sabi ni Isabel.

Isabel has a very slim type of body with medium to average bust size to fit her structure perfectly. Sa nasabing press con nga ng Myra-E, naitanong sa kanya kung willing na siyang mag-pose sa FHM dahil nag-two-piece na rin naman siya sa isang giant billboard for Cinderella at ang nasagot niya na nang patawa, magpapalaki raw muna siya ng boobs.

"Pero December pa ito kumalat sa Cebu at hindi cell phone video, mail attachment, ngayon lang ito lumabas?" natatawang dagdag ni Isabel.

We asked her kung napanood niya ang naturang sex video and she said no. Hindi raw siya nanonood ng ganoong klaseng material. Hindi rin siya nagkainteres na panoorin ito kahit mayroon ang mga friends niya for curiosity sake.

"Ang mga friends ko nga, pagkatapos mapanood binura na. Kasi alam nila it's not me, kaya hindi na rin ako nakahingi ng kopya," kuwento ni Isabel.

HINDI inasahan ni Isabel Oli na magiging artista siya. Unang napansin ang ganda niya sa Sugo.

Dahil sa galing sa pagganap, nasundan ito ng iba pang shows sa GMA 7.

Pero, hindi lang acting ang talent ni Isabel.

“At the moment, I’m focusing on acting. But I’m also exploring a singing career. Hopefully, either this year or next year, I’ll be able to have my own album.”

Kahit pa sobrang busy, sinisiguro ni Isabel na may oras siya lagi para makipag-bonding sa pamilya.

Kakagaling lang niya sa Singapore, kung saan naninirahan ang mga magulang at kapatid.

“I stayed there for almost a month. Naging tradition na kasi namin to gather the whole family there every summer. Lalo na since my dad was hospitalized last April, I really wanted to be there with him para alagaan siyang mabuti,” dagdag ni Isabel.

Hindi raw nakasunod ang (ex?) BF na si Paolo Contis sa sobrang busy sa career.

Kapag nasa Manila, abala naman si Isabel sa taping, photo shoot at pagwu-workout sa gym. Maalaga si Isabel sa sarili para laging healthy.

Maingat siya sa kinakain. “I try to avoid food na masyadong oily. I love eating fruits, vegetables and fish, and I drink plenty of water. I try to drink eight to 10 glasses of water a day.”

Hangga’t maaari, at least four times a week siya nagwu-workout, anang bagong endorser ng Myra E Facial Moisturizer at Skin and Body Lotion.

Isa si Isabel sa “It” girls ngayon, pero para sa kanya, una sa lahat ang pagiging anak sa mga magulang at sa Diyos. Matindi ang kanyang Christian faith, kaya nakararaos sa challenges at in touch sa realidad ng buhay.

SET to start na rin ang Mga Mata Ni Angelita sa GMA.

Originally created to be part of the afternoon soap block and as a Sine Novela -- from radio naging movie agad ito ng nasirang Julie Vega and never naging TV show -- na elevate sa primetime ang Mga Mata Ni A-ngelita and now it is in pre-production na with Khryss Adalia scheduled to direct this one.

Angelita is pegged for the kid star Kristal Reyes, ang dating Maria Jolina Reyes na sumikat bilang batang Kristal sa Bakekang noon kung kaya’t in-adopt na rin ang kanyang character name to her screen name. She was last seen sa afternoon soap na Princess Charming.

Reportedly joining her will be Marvin Agustin, Mark Herras, Isabel Oli and Lucy Torres-Gomez in a special role as the Virgin Mary.

Malapit nang magsimula ang first solo primetime soap ni Marky Cielo, the Philippine version of the hit science fiction show of Japan during the late ‘80s na ipinalabas din sa Pilipinas several times and in several television channels including IBC 13, GMA-7 and ABS-2 in that order.

Si Dominic Zapata ang magdidirek nito after he finishes Super Twins.

Marky, it turns out, will have two leading ladies pala.

Shaider, or Uchuu Keiji Shaider (English translation: Space Sheriff Shaider), is a Japanese live action series that originally ran in Asahi TV Japan noong 1984. Sa Pilipinas, it was first broadcast and dubbed in Filipino sa IBC-13 noong 1992 , then re-telecast sa GMA-7 noong 2003.

Its last syndicated run was in Hero TV, cartoon channel of ABS-CBN, two years ago. It had 48 original episodes.

Tulad ng isa pang popular Japanese work na Lupin, nakuha rin ng GMA-7 ang rights ng Shaider. Isa ito sa mga primetime shows ng Kapuso Network.

Dominic Zapata is set to direct the Philippine version of Shaider after his Super Twins stint.

Ang StarStruck 3 Ultimate Sole Survivor na si Marky Cielo ang nakatakdang gumanap sa papel na Shaider. Ang StarStruck 4 Ultimate Female Survivor namang si Kris Bernal ang napipisil na gumanap na Annie.

Si Jay Manalo naman ang gaganap sa main villain na si Commander Kom. He will have five female assistants—four of which will be Bianca King, Isabel Oli, Arci Muñoz, and Iwa Moto.

Ang Shaider din ang magiging follow-up primetime show ni Raymart Santiago after Narito Ang Puso Ko with Jolina Magdangal.

Sa original version ng Shaider, ang main character bilang Shaider/Dai Sawamura ay ginampanan ni Hiroshi Tsuburaya. Sa Philippine version nito ay ginawang Alexis del Mundo ang pangalan ng alter-ego ni Shaider. Si Annie naman ay ginampanan ni Naomi Morinaga. Namatay si Hiroshi noong July 24, 2001 sa edad na 37 dahil sa liver cancer.

KAHIT hindi pa official ang reconciliation, inamin ni Paolo Contis na constant ang communication nila ng (ex?) girlfriend na si Isabel Oli. In touch daw sila kahit nasa Singapore pa ang dalaga with her family.

Ani Paolo, saka niya na-realize kung gaano kamahal ang GF nang iwan siya nito. Kaya naman kahit sasailalim pa lang sa Smart Lipo under Dra. Vicki Belo kahapon ng hapon, ang pagsunod na kay Isabel sa Singapore ang pinaplano ng young actor.

“Kahit three days lang,” hirit nito sa manager na si Lolit Solis, “pangit naman kasi kung sa text namin pag-uusapan ang tungkol sa reconciliation, ’di ba? If I go there, baka sakali.”

After the operation of Isabel Oli's father dito sa Pilipinas, lumipad ang pamilya nila patungong Singapore kung saan naka-base ang mga magulang at kapatid na babae ng aktres. Doon na raw magre-recuperate ang ama ni Isabel.

Si Paolo Contis naman, nagsimula nang mag-taping for Fantastic Man bilang si Madam Tisay, ang operadang kontrabida. Kasama rin siya sa bagong sitcom ng GMA-7 na Who's Your Daddy Now?.

Kinumpirma nina Paolo at Isabel sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), via separate text messages, na inaayos nilang muli ang kanilang relasyon.

Una silang nagkasama sa Sugo ni Richard Gutierrez; si Paolo bilang main kontrabida at si Isabel naman bilang partner ni Richard. By the time nagsama sila sa "Like Mother, Like Daughters" episode sa Love to Love noon, sila nang dalawa. Although, like their first show, hindi uli sila ang magka-partner dito dahil si Julia Clarete ang partner ni Paolo at si Alfred Vargas naman for Isabel.

Ang huli nilang pinagsamahan, kung saan sila umamin na sila na nga, ay sa Atlantika. Paolo joined Isabel's Christian Fellowship, at kung kailan pa man din pareho na ang religion nila ay saka naman lumabo ang kanilang relasyon. Kasabay na rin kasi nito ang sakit ng ama ni Isabel na nagpapagulo pa lalo sa isip ng dalaga.

Pero sabi nga sa amin ni Paolo, inaayos na nila ang relationship nila.

"Well, we're fixing it right now. Actually we're getting better," sabi ng young actor.

Hindi naman ikinaila ni Isabel ang sinabi ni Paolo sa amin at biniro pa kaming buti at happy din kami for them.

"Sana nga mas okay na ang lahat," sabi ni Isabel.

Susubukan daw ni Paolo na dumalaw kay Isabel sa Singapore dahil June pa ang balik ng dalaga. Pero hindi pa raw siya sigurado, depende sa schedule niya.

Before Isabel left for Singapore, she and Paolo were seen during the special screening of Spider-Man 3 last May 1 sa SM Mall of Asia.

Hindi dumating si Paolo Contis sa station ID shoot ng GMA-7 kahapon, April 11, sa GMA Network complex, pero ang kanyang ex-girlfriend na si Isabel Oli ay nandun.

Katunayan, itinigil ang lahat ng mga tapings kahapon para lang makadalo ang lahat ng mga artista ng Kapuso Network. <>Ang dahilan daw ng hindi pagsipot ni Paolo sa station ID shoot ay na-delay ang flight ni Paolo pabalik ng Pilipinas galing Middle East, kung saan siya naglaro ng basketball kasama ang iba pang Pinoy celebrities. Pero may kumalat na tsismis na iniiwasan daw talaga ng young actor na makita ang dating kasintahan.

Mas lalong tumindi ang speculations na matindi ang naging rason ng breakup ng dalawa nang tumanggi si Isabel na magpa-interview sa TV. Itinuturo ni Isabel ang GMA Artist Center na siya umanong nag-advice sa kanya na huwag magpa-interview tungkol sa breakup nila ni Paolo.

Nakapagtataka lang na kumukontra ito sa mga pahayag ni Isabel na hindi sila nagkaroon ng problema ni Paolo kaya sila nag-break. Kung walang naging problema sa breakup nila ni Paolo, bakit namamagitan ang Artist Center at pinipigilan si Isabel na magsalita?

Kung positibo naman ang mga sasabihin ni Isabel, walang dapat ikatakot ang Artist Center sa magiging feedback ng mga sasabihin ng young actress tungkol sa kanilang breakup.

Cancelled naman ang Singapore trip ni Isabel Oli dahil last Monday, April 2, inoperahan sa prostate ang ama niya rito sa Manila. Nandito ang buong pamilya niya ngayon, her mother and sisters na Singapore-based na and her brothers na from Cebu naman. May na lang daw sila magsi-Singapore with the whole family as her father needs a two-week rest after the operation.

Hindi na nagawa pang itanggi ni Paolo Contis na cool-off muna sila ng kanyang girlfriend na si Isabel Oli. Ayon kay Paolo, may kinalaman daw sa pagiging Born-Again Christians nila kung bakit nag-decide silang maghiwalay muna.
Ayaw ngang i-label ni Paolo na break na sila ni Isabel dahil wala naman daw silang naging malaking problema.
"Ang pinaka-safe na tawag sa amin ay cool-off siguro," diin ni Paolo. "Wala namang naging problema talaga. May mga gusto lang kaming ayusin ngayon. Okay naman kami ni Isabel. We just need space muna from each other."
May mga nagsasabi na nag-ugat daw ang problema nina Paolo at Isabel sa billboards ng huli, na kung saan naka-two-piece bikini ang young actress. Hindi raw ito alam ni Paolo at nagulat na lang daw siya nang makita ang mga billboards ng girlfriend na nakabalandra sa EDSA.

MARIA Olivia Day-tia at 22 graduated from the University of San Jose Recoletos in Cebu City with a degree of Information Technology.

But before she settled down to work in Manila, her presence made a big splash two years ago in the Max’s Chicken commercial with Piolo Pascual, She’s Isabel in that commercial, her first. Soon she was noticed. ABS-CBN got her, playing small roles in some series.

GMA noticed her and got her for Richard Gutierrez’s Sugo and Liv (her nickname back home in Cebu) got her brand-new screen name, Isabel Oli – obviously from that commercial and her first name.

Now, Isabel Oli is a commercial model and actress. She did a movie, Moments of Love for GMA Films. From Sugo, she was in I Love New York, Love to Love and Atlantika.

Since she has no regular commitment with GMA so far, Isabel does a lot of traveling, especially this summer, she’s slated to go to Singapore and Japan this summer.

As commercial model, from Max’s commercial, she did Myra-E, Fuji, Cinderella, Flywear shades and Secret Garden Resort.

Isabel considers herself lucky since the Max’s contract is on its second year for their standees. And as the image model of Flywear, she has renewed her contract with Mia S. Tan and partners. As Mia points out, Isabel is an ideal endorser – a frequent traveler and oozes with style and sophistication wherever she goes.

This early April she will be in Japan for some pictorial sessions for print ads of an international establishment.

In May, she is set to have her vacation in Singapore. Her parents are there with her two sisters who work and have settled there. She’s the youngest among five children, the bonding continues as she makes regular visits to Singapore and Cebu where her other sister still is. Her two older brothers are here in Manila.

She laughs when she is asked about her love life. Surely to say that’s it is okey. She and Paolo Contis have been on for a year and two months.

"Okey si Pao sa family ko," she confides. "Lab talaga ng mommy ko siya."

But Paolo won’t be with him on her vacation to Singapore which they once did since this time since he would be on a church mission.

Sweethearts Isabel Oli and Paolo Contis have to separate for a while since Isabel will have to fly to Singapore for her yearly summer vacation.

Separate lives and countries for two months ang magkasintahang sina Isabel Oli and Paolo Contis.

More than one year na ang relationship nina Isabel and Paolo, na unang nagkasama sa Sugo ng GMA-7, at nagsama uli sa isang episode sa Love To Love, ang "Like Mother, Like Daughters." Ngayon, sumanib na rin si Paolo sa relihiyon ni Isabel, a member of the Born Again Christian group na Victory Fellowship.

Like her usual summer schedule, nakatakdang lumipad si Isabel patungong Singapore next month for two months para makasama ang kaniyang Singapore-based family. Matagal nang naninirahan ang kaniyang mga magulang sa Lion City kasama ng kaniyang tatlong kapatid na babae. Si Isabel lang ang nasa Maynila at ang kaniyang mga kuya naman ay nasa Cebu.

Nagpaalam muna si Isabel sa GMA-7 for this break, although she said on call siya pagdating ng May dahil baka simulan na ang kaniyang next project for the Kapuso Network—possibly a soap.

Before flying to Singapore, lilipad muna si Isabel sa Japan to do a shoot for an international brand. Sa Japan na siya didiretso patungong Singapore.

Kaya nga ngayon pa lang, inaayos na ni Isabel ang iba niyang commitments, especially her endorsements. The celebrity endorser of such diverse products like Myra E lotion and Cinderella also renewed her contract with the Fly Wear Shades, a line of imported shades na nabibili nationwide in leading malls.

Hindi naman alam ni Isabel kung, like last year, makakasunod si Paolo sa Singapore kahit one week lang. May two schedules din si Paolo abroad in April and May. Hindi pa alam ni Paolo kung tuloy ang Middle East shows niya for GMA Pinoy TV but, for sure, lilipad siya papuntang Russia next month para naman sa isang mission for their religion.
